1. Who We Are

Ludo Super League is developed by Lockdown Studios in collaboration with Ludo League SA. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the team responsible for Ludo Super League, its website, and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

  • Gameplay and multiplayer data: match results, game actions, opponent or lobby information, connection status, and information needed to prevent cheating or abuse.
  • Device and technical data: device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate location based on IP address, IP address, crash information, and diagnostic or performance data.
  • Advertising data: where ads are enabled, advertising identifiers, ad interactions, consent choices, and information used to deliver, measure, or limit ads.
  • Communications: your name, email address, message, and any information you choose to provide when you contact us through an available support channel.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the game and website;
  • create rankings, save progress, and support multiplayer matches;
  • respond to support requests and feedback;
  • improve performance, fix errors, and develop new features;
  • protect players, enforce our rules, and prevent fraud, cheating, or misuse;
  • show and measure advertising where ads are included in the app; and
  • comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

4. Legal Grounds for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal ground, we process information to perform our service agreement with you, with your consent, to comply with law, or for legitimate interests such as securing and improving the service. You may withdraw consent through the options provided in the app or device settings, but this does not affect processing already completed.

5. Advertising and Multiplayer Providers

Some app builds may use third-party services that process information under their own privacy policies:

  • Google Mobile Ads: may process device, advertising, consent, and ad interaction data to provide and measure ads. Read the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Photon: may process player identifiers, IP addresses, connection data, and multiplayer session data needed to provide online play. Read the Photon Privacy Policy.
  • App stores and operating-system providers: Google Play, Apple, or another distribution platform may process downloads, purchases, diagnostics, and account data according to its own terms.

The services included may vary by platform, country, and app version. We do not receive your full payment-card details from an app store.

6. When We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us run the game, host data, provide multiplayer features, deliver advertising, or diagnose problems. We may also share information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a merger, financing, reorganisation, or sale of the business. Public profile details, scores, and rankings may be visible to other players. We do not sell personal information for money.

7. Data Retention and Security

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including maintaining accounts and rankings, resolving disputes, securing the service, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by data type. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and require providers to protect information in accordance with applicable law.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, or to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Players in South Africa may contact the Information Regulator if they believe their rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) have been infringed. To make a request to us, use our Contact page and include enough information for us to identify the relevant account or record. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You can reset or limit an advertising identifier and manage certain ad-personalisation choices in your device settings. Where required, the app may also present a consent form.

10. Children’s Privacy

Children should use the game only with the involvement of a parent or guardian where required by local law. We do not knowingly request more personal information from children than is reasonably necessary to provide the game. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided personal information without the required permission, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it. Advertising and consent settings may differ for users identified as children.

11. Website Cookies

The website may use essential browser storage or cookies needed for functionality and security. If analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies are added, we will provide any notice and choice required by applicable law. Third-party links lead to services we do not control.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the game, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice in the app or on the website.
